Why is it necessary to enter the data path inside form data? Also, why is it invisible if we leave the data path field blank?

According to me,it is necessary to enter the data path inside form data in Vflow2.0,because it asks you to give a path so that it can store your data in debugger else there will no use of the data you have filled in the form if it is not stored anywhere.However it is invisible because as per vFlow2.0 configuration it is mandatory to provide data path while configuring form.
