What is the difference between multiselect and auto complete dropdown?

The “Autocomplete” element provides the auto-search option. It is a dropdown type element. After the user enters a value in the “Search” box, the dropdown list displays the near-term values or the exact value.
For example: – You can use the “Autocomplete” element if the dropdown list contains several assorted values.
The “Multi Select Dropdown” element allows the user to select more than one value from the list of available options. To enable the user to select multiple values, the dropdown list displays a checkbox with each of the options.
