This task allows users to select one or more files from their device, which are then saved to a predefined storage location. During setup, you specify where these files will be stored. Once the File Picker task retrieves the files, it places them in the designated location.

To upload files to the Document Management System (DMS), you must add the Upload Media task after the File Picker task within the Task Groups module. While configuring the File Picker, you can choose to save the files either at a specified file path or directly to the DMS.

Uses of the File Picker Task :

  • Allows end users to select and upload one or more files from their local device.

  • When paired with the Upload Media task, it enables seamless uploading of selected files to a DMS for centralized document management.

  • Offers flexibility in defining storage paths and locations, making it adaptable to various use cases and file management strategies.
