Problem Statement
The current Theme & Style module in Designer is not aligned with modern market standards and lacks the flexibility required for scalable design. It does not support multiple styles for elements or layouts, lacks interactive states like hover, pressed and many more, and offers limited design properties such as borders or spacing controls. Due to these limitations, users are forced to manually reconfigure styles for each element, even when a theme is already defined, leading to inefficiencies, inconsistency, and slower design workflows.

We’re introduce Theme 2.0 — a powerful design system built to bring consistency, scalability, and efficiency to how you build applications in Designer.
Designed with modern UI principles, Theme 2.0 also includes advanced support for interactive states, responsive typography, and version-controlled styling — making it easier than ever to collaborate, iterate, and maintain design quality throughout the app lifecycle.
