Vahana Release 2.10.1.0

vConnect & IT Ops

:rocket: New Features

:new_button: Redis Snapshot & Restore

Effortlessly backup and recover your Redis data with snapshots when needed and seamless restores via the new “Redis Snapshot & Restore” feature, available in IT Ops under the new VRT Ops module, with full access for Admin role users and limited access for Viewer role users.

Snapshots will be stored in VRT Elastic File System (EFS). To help manage storage, snapshots can be deleted manually directly via the dashboard if not needed any more.

When you need to recover data, you can restore data (including app configs and user sessions) from any snapshot back into Redis. Note that existing Redis data (if present) would NOT be impacted after Restore, i.e., no overwrite of Redis keys will happen. Only differential data will be restored.

:small_blue_diamond: Import Deployment Configuration for Unlisted Apps in IT Ops

Enhanced the App Ops module in IT Ops to allow importing configurations for undeployed apps. Previously, only apps with existing configurations were listed, limiting the “Import Release Config” feature to deployed apps. Now, users can import configs for apps not yet listed, enabling more flexible configuration management.

:warning:Deprecation Notice

Import Release Config feature (part of App Ops module) has been deprecated from Vahana Cloud based IT Ops. It will now be available exclusively on VRT based IT Ops.
