Remove Tampering

What is Remove Tampering in ‘Designer1’ while making the build under ‘SDK’s Build Properties’ section? And why we used to check it while creating the build?

@Sanjali_Mehta, Please look into this query.

Hii @Tanya_Kumari !!
According to me, In the Vahana Cloud Platform, Remove Tampering is a setting under the SDK’s Build Properties section, which is typically used to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the build being created for your application or software.
Enabling Remove Tampering helps safeguard the reliability and security of the build, maintaining trust in the integrity of the software being deployed.

-Tampering refers to any unauthorized changes or modifications to the software or build. This could include changes that could potentially introduce bugs, malicious code, or other unintended alterations.

-The Remove Tampering feature, when enabled, helps ensure that the build process checks for any signs of tampering or unauthorized modifications during the build creation. This ensures that the final output is secure and hasn’t been altered in ways that could affect its functionality or security.

While Checking “Remove Tampering” ensures that the build you are deploying or distributing is free from unwanted modifications, which is crucial when deploying software to sensitive environments, especially in aviation or other critical systems.
