The Print Task feature enables users to print a specific page, component, element, row, or column directly through a button click. This functionality is particularly beneficial when there is a requirement to generate hard copies or PDF versions of displayed data for offline access, record-keeping, or reporting purposes.

To configure the Print Task in your application, please follow the steps outlined below:

  • Go to the Inventory section and open the Task Group module.

  • Click Create to define a new Task Group.

  • Within this Task Group, add a new task and set its type to Print.

  • In the Properties section of the Print Task, follow these steps:

    • Under Entity Type, select that one option( component, element, row and column ) you want to print, I select component.
    • Under Page Name, enter the page on which you are mapping the table.
    • In the Component field, set the component name.
    • Click the Save button to apply your changes.
  • Save both the task and the Task Group.

  • Map the newly created Print Task Group to the event of that element form which you want to print .
