How many status can I create in admin portal?

You can create any number of statuses as per your workflow/task need however In Workflow Manager, tasks can have four statuses:

OPEN (not started),
WIP (work in progress),
Successfully closed (completed),
Failure Closed (unable to complete).

You can bind any status of your requirement to the workflow manager status
