How to implement a logout button?

To implement the logout button. Let’s suppose you are placing it on Header.
Steps to be followed :

Under vFlow → Application → Custom pages->Header

  1. Add new header.
  2. Add element of type Button. Name it as LOGOUT.
  3. Submit it and Publish.

Task group:

  1. Go to Task group, Add a new task group
  2. Provide the name.
  3. Select the ‘LOGOUT’ task from the list of tasks available.
  4. Click add task config.
  5. A pop-up window will be displayed; enter the details as follows:
  • Sequence - 1
  • Name- LOGOUT_Taskgroup
  • Description- LOGOUT_Taskgroup
  1. You can see in the configuration segment, Logout will be selected already.
  2. Now configure an on click event for this task group.

To map with header element:

  1. Go to header’s element (Element 1 named LOGOUT )
  2. Bind this event to the Events section.
  3. Publish the header. Sync it with Release manager.
